Families who were victims of rape and/or murder of illegal aliens should band together, raise money through crowd funding and sue the NGOs, the sanctuary states, etc.
In the case of the illegal-immigrant smugglers, I also wonder if they have been paying off foreign officials for assistance, or just to look the other way. If so, that would constitute a violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, which in itself carries severe penalties. Among them is that convicted individuals or organizations can be barred from doing any further business with the government.
I hadn’t thought of this. Very interesting. Wonder how this intersects with Trumps recent hand waiving at easing foreign bribery restrictions. It’s a tangled web.
Thank you for this. While my guess is there are already works in play at DOJ and DOGE, this article should circulate widely. The DataRepublican graph is almost too much to bear.
Thanks. I have been suspecting it for years when seeing NGO grants, looking into them and seeing a web of Dems for the most part, and the inflated salaries. I have long thought there are RICO cases to be made.
The issue that I have with the DataRepublican chart, and charts I have tried to make myself is that it shows how much government money is in each org, but does not trace back to which entities, which grants or contracts produced that money. She has another one that you can actually look at individual grants to organizations, but that only tells a small part of the story.
Agreed. There will be a lot of work to do here. Forensic accountants needed, but there should be a bright paper trail to follow. Somewhere out there is an analyst that loves this stuff and hates corruption. Hope to get that person(s) on the case.
I remember a dinner mentioning to a couple of well connected members of the party here in CA that RICO should apply for the NGOs involved subverting US law to bring illegal aliens in the country. They visibly froze. Both are lawyers. There’s a case there.
I am an American Patriot and a Conservative. Being a Republican (a marriage of convenience at best) is very far down my list. I want Republican criminals prosecuted as well. Perhaps start with democrats to preserve majorities.
I think a lot of those impacted by the concepts in my piece would be the parasite class that surrounds and infects government in non-elected roles. So bipartisan house cleaning there wouldn't impact majorities. Thanks for your comments here. Spread the word on this idea to as many as you can to hopefully catch the attention of those that can actually take action on them.
I am not a lawyer either but my observation of private suits alleging RICO violations going back a couple of decades is that they very rarely succeed because RICO has a lot of subtleties so getting all the Ts crossed and Is dotted is hard and a good defense attorney can spread sufficient confusion that the charge fails. Heck even government suits alleging RICO often go off the rails (e.g. see Fanni Willis vs Trump) when they aren't prosecuting people called Guido or Pedro.
Now that's not to say NGOs can't be prosecuted for RICO offenses but it's not going to be a slam dunk. OTOH if such a suit can proceed to discovery then that in itself is likely to lead to fascinating revelations that may then allow for follow on suits that make other non RICO accusations that will be found valid by judges and juries.
It makes sense that these would be very complicated. I hope some are filed and succeed. As far as discouraging this process in the future, even failed cases could have a preventive effect as a warning shot to the entire system. Sometimes the process is the punishment.
Indeed a little lawfare against the Deep Staters and their NGOs is an excellent idea. I think we're violently agreeing that even if the RICO charge fails to stick prosecuting it will cause pain among the deserving.
It has occurred to me that getting the NGOs - and more importantly their individually named officers - to have to lawyer up opens up all sorts of secondary avenues for attack. For example if the cases are taken pro bono by a large lawfirm then other clients of that lawfirm might ask why their hourly billing is subsidizing the defense of grifters

Wow!! Excellent explanation of something I never fully appreciated. Thank you 😊

You did a lot of work, Listener!
Thank you. There is nothing as powerful as an idea whose time has come. Would love for this to be shared as broadly as possible.

I haven’t heard any direct feedback from anyone in the legal community yet, so this is good to hear.
Please investigate and prosecute as many of these democrat RICO crooks as possible and as mercilessly as possible.
I agree on the basic sentiment. However, I think there would be found many Republicans among the list of recipients….

I agree with you about the NGO money laundering machine - in fact I wrote about it not too long ago (https://ombreolivier.substack.com/p/money-laundering-the-ngo-way?r=7yrqz )

Confirmed.
